William J. McCarthy Swim

August 6th, 2016, Bristol

William James McCarthy

The William J McCarthy Swim was established in 2012 to honor the late William J McCarthy for his spirited sense of community and accomplishments in aquatics. Proceeds from the event go to developing an aquatics program with the Bristol Parks and Recreation Department including swim lessons for children, and also to help fund the proposed two swimming pools to be built at the new Quinta Gamelin Community Center on Asylum road.
